Reuter News service is reporting that a prehistoric dinosaur has been unearthed in North Dakota. The dinosaur is known as a Hadrosaur, is fossilized, and has remained intact. It is reported that this particular dinosaur lived on the earth sixty seven million years ago. This of course, begs the question, are we supposed to believe that soft tissue can be preserved for as long as sixty seven million years?The find is even more extraordinary in that the flesh of the dinosaur turned to stone and scientist have the ability to see the texture of its skin as well as the muscular structure of the beast. Now, science tells us that we must believe that the earth has gone through several changes throughout its existence. The earth has gone through ice ages and through times of global warming and all of this has taken place since the time of the dinosaurs. Nevertheless, the tissue of this creature can survive millions of years through all of these changes.
However, this is not the first dinosaur that scientist have fond with tissue that has been preserved. Scientists found the remains of a Tyrannosaurus Rex and had to break its leg in order to airlift it by chopper. However, when they broke the leg they found soft tissue inside as well as complete blood vessels and the contents were still soft and retained their elasticity.
We find in many civilizations that the mention of huge beasts is prevalent, although, they were known as something else, dragons, Behemoth, sea serpents, and Leviathan. We have many stories in ancient history which we now claim to be nothing more than fairy tales, but what if they were not fairy tales at all, but instead factual accounts of the beast that we now call dinosaurs. We like to label things as fanciful stories if we have not witnessed them in our lifetime and this is exactly what happened with these creatures.
Scientists have made the claim that the reason why we have fossils and bones of dinosaurs is because they died out millions of years ago. However, it does not seem likely that organic tissue can survive for millions of years no matter how well preserved they are. It is a scientifically accepted fact that even frozen human embryos are only viable for up to ten years. This means that even though they are frozen in very controlled environments, decay does take place and is not halted. It is the same for all living organisms and there is no exception.
The “Iceman,” known only as Otzi, was discovered frozen in the Alps and is thought to be about fifty three hundred years old. Even though the Iceman was preserved in the ice, the amount of decomposition makes it obvious that over the course of a million years, there would simply be very little to nothing left. Expand this amount of time to sixty seven million years and you have a ludicrous theory.
It should have become painfully obvious that the millions of years theory was in danger when the Wooly Mammoths were discovered and there was still organic material present, including hair, but also that the contents of their stomachs were still intact revealing that at one time, or several times, that their cold and icy grave had at one time been full of vegetation. It was also reported that the indigenous people were actually feeding on the meat of these beasts which were supposedly millions of years old.
Perhaps the scientists should have consulted with the ancient Peruvians. The Peruvians apparently knew what dinosaurs looked like before paleontology even became a science. Ancient artwork from these people show perfect depictions of several types of dinosaurs, including the Triceratops.
Even the Bible does make mention of something which could be construed to be a dinosaur. In the book of Job we are given a description of Behemoth, which very much sounds like the description of a Brachiosaur, or Brontosaurus. Then we are told of a beast known as Leviathan, which I can only determine to be the description of a fire breathing dragon of some sort. It is an interesting thought which does boggle the mind, but history is not without the mention of these dragons and many cultures have their heroes which are said to have slain these creatures.
Remember, the idea and science of the study of dinosaurs is relatively new. The term dinosaur did not even exist before the 1800s. Perhaps, scientists are wrong and in fact these creatures existed with man on this earth, What if these creatures merely went extinct within man’s time on this earth, or were hunted to extinction. If we are to look at the world with a true scientific perspective, we should consider that nothing however, improbable, is not impossible.
