Jesus is Offensive

I have been watching and listening for quite some time now and I can see that it is Christ Jesus that seems to be possibly the most offensive person in history. This one man claims that he is the only way into Heaven and the only way to get to God the Father. It is his contention that he is the truth, the life, and none shall come to the Father but by him. This indeed is offensive to those that are caught up in their own pride and believe that somehow through their own works they can get to Heaven. Oh, they will get to Heaven but can they stay there is the question.

Many believe that if they do good deeds that they will certainly earn their way into Heaven, and there are those that think they simply have to outweigh their bad deeds by their good. Either way they are incorrect and they have no knowledge in them. Salvation is given by the grace of God to those that believe in the Lord Jesus. This is offensive to everyone except the Christian and even to some in the Catholic Church, so in saying Jesus is the only way to Heaven we have offended most of the world. This leaves very few that shall be saved.

There were times when I tried to reconcile salvation without the need for Jesus. I thought to myself that God would let those that are good into Heaven even if they do not believe in Jesus Christ. I was wrong and that is not scriptural. If we could be saved by any other means then God would not have had to sacrifice his Son for us. Our trouble comes when we decide who is good or evil; we do not see sin as God does. To God all sins are equal. Have you not heard that he who breaks one part of the law has broken all of the law?

We also know that the only way to be redeemed through the breaking of the law is through the blood of sacrifice and here is where the Son of God was the perfect sacrifice without spot or blemish and good for the remittance of a lifetime of sin. I would expect this to be a joyous message for everyone, but sadly that is not the case and man through his own vain imaginings must try to help himself and will struggle against the will of God. What is the will of God you ask? To believe on him whom he sent and all that call upon his name shall be saved.

It is a very simple message and not one that should offend. The Jews are offended because they were trained by God that they must perform but the underlying message was to trust in God, however, they missed it and cannot let go of the laws yet. The Muslims know the message but they are so at odds with the Jews that they will deny the truth because if they admitted it then they must admit that the Jews were God’s chosen people. Therefore, they say that God had no Son and that Jesus was only a profit, albeit and very respected powerful one.

I must say that I am convinced that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and there is no way into salvation but through him. Therefore, for the sake of Jesus I am guilty of offending many but I count it as gain in this life that I should come to the knowledge f the truth. I beg anyone that is offended at Christ Jesus to please search the scriptures and your heart. I would rather see you in Heaven as a brother or sister, than in Hell as an enemy. May God bless and keep you and open the eyes of the blind. All glory and honor to the most high God.

Associated Content also pays upfront for articles; however, the payments are very low. Nevertheless, even after the article has sold you do continue to make performance payments. An example might be that you make $6.00 upfront and then collect performance payments thereafter. Associated Content has the fastest and highest payout in performance payouts.

Ground Report is our final example of content production sites, which relies on the Internet public for its content. Ground Report does not offer upfront payments and has a very low payout for performance payments. However, I must say that you should write for all three of these sites as they will offer you exposure and combined your payouts would be much higher.

However, can we do something better than even these? Sure we can, we can cut out the intermediary and generate our own source of income. I have been experimenting for some time and I must say that it is not difficult to surpass the revenue generated by all three online content production sites combined. However, it is important to have an area of expertise ad to establish a following.

The first option is free and is the way I went for about a year. You must establish an account with blogger.com, it is free, and you can sign up for Google Adsense. Google Adsense are contextual ads which are generated on you blog automatically just by adding a little code.

The other way requires a small investment on your part. It is important to establish your own dot com. This will give you higher ranking in the search engines, which will drive traffic to your site. You can still use Adsense, which is a great revenue generator. If you are interested in starting your own dot com then I must say that Yahoo hosting was the simplest and cheapest way for me to go. However, the tools and service are great and they have tech support that is unsurpassed by anyone else I know of.

Now, how can we help each other grab our share of Internet traffic? Well, we need to link to each other, this causes our rankings to go up and gives us a better placement in the search engines and actually can add others content to your site and vice-versa. It is important to visit each other’s sites as well, click on ads, and use the search function in order to generate income for each other.

Relocation Update

Well, we are on our way to Nebraska and so far so good. We have stopped to stay at a Comfort Inn here in Flagstaff, Arizona. Nothing interesting happening yet just one hell of a long drive and tired. Thought I would keep you all abreast of the situation and let you know things are going a little behind schedule, but not too bad. We plan on finishing the exodus tomorrow and should arrive in Nebraska sometime tomorrow night.

I simply cannot wait to get there and settle in so I can get back to writing. I miss it very much and I am hopeful that I will bring some much more interesting subject matter to the forefront. Until next time, "Keep looking up because you never know what you might miss."

When you see these things look up for the time is near

Tonight I caught myself doing something that I did not realize I was doing, but as I reflected on it I came to the understanding that I had actually been doing it for some time. I was looking up into the night sky, and I know that this act is no extraordinary thing in and of itself. However, I came to realize that I actually study the sky day or night and it seems to be more out of a sub conscious habit than anything else. As far as I can tell it is a recent phenomenon for me which I can only track back approximately three years.

I have no idea what I am looking for, or if I am looking for anything at all. I only know that I have this overwhelming sense that if I fail to look to the sky, then I am going to miss something very important. Perhaps it is nothing more than my Christian upbringing that guides my gaze skyward, possibly looking for signs or even the second coming of our Lord. We have all read in the Bible where the disciples asked Jesus what would be the signs of his coming.

Jesus replied to them that, “You shall hear of wars and rumors of wars.” Nations shall rise against Nations, and there shall be pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places. All these are to be the beginning of sorrows.” Now it would be easy to point out that these things have been present throughout the history of mankind. However, we see a crescendo building and it seems as though there will be a point where the lid must blow off of the boiling pot. It is my belief that I am not the only one that is sensing the coming of this time.

I started becoming aware of it a few years back, nevertheless, I am not able to say categorically it is going to happen now, or that it will be any one event that kicks it off. It is more of a feeling, or intuition if you wish to call it that. The only thing that causes me to doubt my senses is that many have come before and said that the time of the end is now and that time came and went without incident. I do not claim to know when such things will happen, I only know that they will and they will happen soon, relatively speaking.

I believe that time is shorter than we suspect and we see the world’s governments stepping up their agendas at a faster pace and it is difficult to keep up with the current events that eventually will affect us all. I have a feeling that because these catastrophes and wars have happened slowly over time that we have become accustomed to them, but had they happened all at once we would have stood and took notice when suddenly 100,000,000 people were suddenly dead. No, indeed it seems that we are being desensitized by the events happening across the planet. We cannot help it, it is our nature and how we cope with disasters.

Nations are becoming much more aggressive and are more apt to go to war than ever before. We see that the planet is undergoing a climate change and as a matter of fact, it seems to be affecting the entire solar system. Whether climate change is do in part to mankind’s influence on his environment seems to be a bit irrelevant because the simple fact is that it has happened before and it will happen again. It is simply a cycle that we do not live long enough to see repeat itself.

So are these the reasons that I look up? Do I truly believe that the Lord of all creation will return to the earth like lightening just in time to save some of us from ourselves? The Bible seems to say so because it does state, “That if those days were not shortened, there would be no flesh saved.” To me this is speaking of physical flesh, life on this planet as we know it. Which brings me to another thought, what if all of those people that believe in ETs and think that they are here watching us to make sure we do not destroy ourselves? What if these ETs were indeed the Lord God and his Angels, would we not see them as extra terrestrials?

Personally, I find the times very troubling indeed and I cannot help but think that something is upon us and I do not believe that I am alone in this. Perhaps it is because we are looking for something because we have read the written word of the Bible or a teacher has taught us these things, but either way, something is coming and I believe that we will be fortunate to survive it.

My Plan to save my Family - In Tough Times we must Make Tough Decisions

I am sure that there are some people out there that can understand what I am going through and how difficult it is to see your family go through the tough times with you. You love them so much that you cannot stand it and you just want to let them go so that they can move on to something better and maybe the rest of their lives would be peaceful and prosperous. I could be wrong but this seems to be more of a man thing because we tend to define ourselves by what we do and what we provide rather than who we are.

Now if you had read my previous article entitled “A Simple Prayer Request at Christmas 2007 Part 3,” you will realize that I had already tried to free my family from me, but it did not quite work out the way I had planned. Anyway, I suppose if I take anything away from this experience it is that there is a reason that we go through these trials and tribulations in life and sometimes it may be that a door is opening. However, sometimes we are too frightened to move through that door and we must be shoved through.

My wife and I had always considered relocating out of California because even before my disability and when I was working we were having tough times and I was making fairly decent money. A couple of years later we find ourselves in financial debt and our lives in turmoil due to my inability to work. To make matters worse my wife was always been a stay at home mother and has been out of the workforce for so long that it is difficult for her to find employment. However, she did manage to get part time employment at Blockbuster Video.

Nevertheless, I have come to the conclusion that re-establishing our lives here in California may not be possible and indeed may not even be prudent. It is our plan to scrimp and save every penny we can muster in order to relocate to Superior, Nebraska. My wife has family there so we will have a support base while we establish ourselves there. While they cannot help too much with the finances involved in the relocation costs we are selling the small portion of belongings we have in order to help finance our trip.

Already, some of you have been generous in your donations for our cause and while I was ashamed to ask, I am pleased to see that there are people that are willing to help us out financially. Every little bit we get is a blessing and I thank God for each and every one of you that have had it in your heart to help us out with donations and prayers. Anyway, back to the plan, it is my belief that it will be much easier to get back on our feet where the cost of living is lower. Even if I can only do small jobs, at least it would be enough to survive on.

Our relatives have said that their community is in desperate need of computer services, so maybe I will be like the country doctor, only I will be repairing computers for chickens and eggs. I guess you just never know what life is going to throw at you and while at times it may be scary as hell, I guess I must always remember that God did not save me to abandon me. So I will trust in him always even when I am too stupid to know what is going on. In my heart of hearts and all signs seem to point to our relocation to Nebraska and honestly, the more I think about it the more excited I get.
